Our Showroom is Open - see below why it's safe for you to visit:

After The Government announced that all non-essential shops could re-open on 12th April 2021 with safety measures in place we set about making our showroom as safe and comfortable as possible for our customers to visit. See below for some of the measures we have introduced to keep customers and staff safe:

1. Social distancing in our large showrooms
To enable our customers and staff to observe social distancing regulations we have decided to carefully regulate the amount of customers* allowed into the showroom at any one time. We have over 5000 sq. foot of floor space in our shop which makes social disntacing much easier for our customers!  If we have reached our capacity when you visit you may choose to wait at the main door until a set of customers leave or you can book an appointment to guarantee your place in the showroom for next time you want to visit. * Sets of Customers is classed as a single or group of customers from the same home family unit or bubble. A set could include up to two adults and two children.

2. New Showroom Appointment Booking System
To avoid any disappointment we have now introduced a priority Showroom Appointment Booking system. To guarantee your time in the showroom and the attention of your own sales advisor you can book either online at: www.rangersappointments.com or by phone on 01252 715185. There is no charge for appointments and no obligation to purchase.

3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
In line with government guidance we require that all our customers wear a mask or face covering when entering the store. Customer's refusing to wear a mask will not be allowed to enter the store. Our staff will be wearing face masks when they serve you - please do not be put off by this - it is for your safety as well as our staff and allows us to serve you as best we can. We also offer a range of PPE for our customers to make you feel comfortable:

  • Hand sanitiser at entry and exit of the premises
  • Disposable nitrile gloves (optional)
  • Disposable surgical face masks (optional)
  • Your own fresh cotton sheet to place on furniture and beds when trying in the showroom to provide and extra layer of protection (optional)
  • Your own plastic protected pillow with your own fresh cotton pillow case for trying beds

4. Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfecting Procedures
We have drastically improved our showroom and furniture cleaning procedures to ensure your safety to include:

  • Regular furniture and showroom cleaning with anti-viral product throughout the day (both hard and soft surfaces)
  • Daily showroom deep clean
  • All door handles and showroom touch points cleaned in between customer visits.

5. Signage
We have increased safety signage throughout the showroom to remind customers of our current requirements including: Social distancing, hand cleanliness and use of PPE

6. Payment
We are no longer accepting cash as payment. We do accept credit or debit card payments in store and we can accept bank transfer payments for flooring jobs.

7. Risk Assessment
As required by law Ranger's has conducted a rigorous and robust risk assessment of all COVID-19 safety implications and taken measures to reduce risks as much as possible for customers and  staff.

8. Deliveries & Flooring Fitting
We are currently offering our usual high standard of delivery and flooring services whilst observing the government guidelines on COVID-19 safety. Our two man delivery team and flooring fitters will be wearing face masks when they enter your property whilst observing social distancing wherever possible. We ask that before the team arrive at your property you ventilate the area they will be working in by opening windows and doors as much as possible. Please also allow our team space to work and follow the social distancing guidelines. Please ensure you or any member of your household is not displaying any of the symptoms of COVID-19 before we attend your property for delivery (more info can be found here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/).
